In the deli on the ground floor you will find a fresh fish and shellfish counter with daily deliveries from Cornwall of whole crabs, Fowey mussels, pollock, organic salmon, wild turbot, wild sea bass and diver-caught scallops to name but a few. Home cured organic salmon gravadlax is also available, sliced to order.
Delicious ice creams, cakes, pastries, desserts and breads, all home made on the premises using local ingredients, including local Shipton Mill flour. Our breads include bloomers, overnight loaves and sour dough. Our chocolate brownies are infamous!
Exotic and unusual fruit and vegetables such as Jerusalem artichokes, Amalfi lemons, Carte Noir fennel and black potatoes. Hand picked salad leaf mix - rocket, frizzee endive, dandelion & herbs.
Artisan cheese including 30 month old Parmigiano Reggiano, Stinking Bishop, Montgomery Cheddar, home-cured meats, continental sausages and home-made terrines.
Fine store cupboard produce, with just about every conceivable quality ingredient needed to cook restaurant-quality food at home, including foie gras, wild mushrooms, Iberico ham and Jess's Ladies local milk and cream.
A selection of restaurant quality dishes prepared daily by Michael and his team for you are always available to take home and enjoy; these may include cassoulet, braised oxtail and rabbit and tarragon pie.
